What Does Damages, Insurance Involve?

Tort law (the law of damages) governs situations in which another person's conduct, omission, or a harmful event causes financial or non-financial damage to someone. In such cases, the injured party is entitled to compensation from the party who caused the damage; however, an insurance company often stands in for – or alongside – the party at fault, for example in the case of motor vehicle or property insurance. In practice, insurers and the parties at fault frequently dispute liability or the extent of the damage, which is why it is worthwhile for the injured party to seek expert representation to enforce their claim.

What I Offer

If you have caused damage, I represent you against the injured party; if damage has been caused to you, I enforce liability against the party responsible. Sometimes an insurance company stands behind the party at fault, typically in cases involving damage caused in connection with a motor vehicle or property. Insurers often offer compensation far below the actual amount of damage, and frequently reject claims even when there is no genuine legal basis for doing so. In such cases, I take action against the insurer with many years of experience. In a significant number of cases, there truly is room for meaningful action, there truly is a real remedy! I take on cases not only against domestic insurers, but also against foreign ones.
